Menerusi laman Instagram, pelakon Datin Diana Danielle telah mengabadikan foto lama mereka sekeluarga ketika meraikan Aidilfitri lalu bersama suami juga pelakon dan pengarah Datuk Farid Kamil yang tidak dapat meraikan Aidilfitri tahun ini selepas dijatuhi dihukum penjara.

Dalam entri tersebut, Diana, 28, berkata, mereka sekeluarga akan sentiasa menyayangi Farid. Dalam pada itu, Diana turut mendedikasikan ucapan Aidilfitri kali ini buat rakyat Syria dan Palestin yang menjadi mangsa peperangan.

"Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri to All Muslims around the world and beyond. We love you Babah — you are our centre of gravity, our protector, our comedian, our imam, our provider, our everything. You are nothing but love and we are nothing but grateful for having you. ❤️

"This Raya — My humble wish is for Syria, Palestine and all war ridden countries to be once and for all lifted from terror and devastation.. Malaysia as a nation has always been responsive and deeply empathetic — we speak up for those without a voice and we call out injustice where we see it.

"Nobody deserves to be stripped off their basic rights and i always try to remind people that if we allow this to continue in other countries and turn a blind eye, if it happens to us, no other country will put their necks out for us either. It is so important to keep solidarity on this matter.

"May we stand together to fight these endless inhumane acts, as well as tweak policies that will better provide and support refugees we welcomed into the country, like basic education, access to post traumatic treatments, healthcare, allowing them to work and build a future here. Pada 15 Mei lalu, Farid, 38, dihukum penjara sembilan bulan atas kesalahan menggunakan dadah jenis Tetra Hydrocannibol (THC), tahun lalu. Pasangan berkenaan mendirikan rumah tangga pada 2012 dan dikurniakan dua cahaya mata iaitu Muhammad dan Nur Aurora.
